What We Do

Our Therapy Group offers treatment plans that are designed to meet the specific needs of unique situations presented.  In fact, we change our schedules daily to ensure the exact treatment is being performed that will expedite the healing process.  We create a fun atmosphere while building or maintaining physical strength and functioning.

  • We work with highly skilled PHYSICAL THERAPISTS that are trained to develop and maintain an individual’s optimal level of physical functioning.  The primary goal is to evaluate and treat an individual’s range of motion, strength, posture, balance and muscle tone in order to meet maximum performance.  This is achieved through:
    • Transfer Training
    • Gait Training
    • Orthotics/Prosthesis Training
    • Therapeutic Exercise
    • Balance Techniques
    • Modalities, (massages, E-Stim, Ultra-Sound, Diathermy, Whirlpool)
    • Wound Care Treatments (in select buildings)

  • The clientele at our communities’ work with OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS to restore everyday function, compensate for lost skills, adapt to their environment or activity that will facilitate independence and promote overall health.  These issues are addressed by:
    • ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living)
    • Use of adaptive equipment (to aide in bathing, dressing ad hygiene)
    • Contracture and tone management
    • Modalities

  • We offer on-site SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS that are trained to provide quality speech, language and feeding therapy.  This therapy is an extremely important factor in the role of maintaining a positive healthful status.  The SLP addresses:
    • Expressive aphasia (loss of the ability to produce language)
    • Receptive aphasia (loss of understanding written and spoken language)
    • Dysphagia (swallowing difficulties)
    • Vital Stim (specialized E-Stim to improve muscle strength to improve swallowing and speaking abilities)
